You may be correct and I didn't follow UM football although I do remember some of the UM-OSU games in the 70's.
I guess my point is that for whatever reasons, Les became a lot less agressive in his game planning after '08; noticeable pradigm shift. And in which we have remained since (with the sole exception being UF this year).
Part of this may be just trying to learn from his mistakes and not repeat them. That's commendable. The flaw is that he's basically constrained himself to non-use so much talent and play down to the competition.
