I guess that is where our society is these days. People rather see Obama as the president when he has done nothing for his country over an old guy that has done everything for his country. On the basis that we need CHANGE.

Not to make this political, but people voted for Bush over the old guy that did everything for his country, simply because his last name was bush. If it was good enough for the country on two occassions for bush the last two elections, Obama is good for one possibly two. He couldn't do any worse. Wow, I guess that kind of connected with the qb situation. Jordan can't do any worse.

Bush over what old guy? And he can do worse! My point is that when do you draw the line between wanting a change and actually damaging yourself even further.

Mccain ran against a younger more inexperienced bush in 2000. Change can be good. We changed our strategy in IRAQ and that has been working out great. Just like our 2006 season we changed our starting running back to Keiland Williams and he singlehandely revamped our running game keying us to the Sugar Bowl rump over notre dame.

Just compare the stats and win/loss records and you will come back to reality.

I agree with that statement...but change, just for change when you have no idea what that means? Come on, give me a break. You honestly have to say that in both cases you don't know how change is going to be helpful. JJ has not seen very much playing time. And Obama has done very little if nothing as a senator.

You see, you can't have it both ways. And a running back change is a totally diffenent situation than a QB change.

Throw out Stafford and Russell's freshman seasons since Russell didn't start very many games and they both lost 2 games each so. and jr. seasons.

I sure hope that in 3 years Lee can throw 15 TD's and 8 Int's, including 0 TD's and 3 INT's in our biggest game of the season. That'd be awesome.

Meaningful QB changes in LSU history

QB change in the peach bowl Booty for Rohan Davey that carried over to winning the SEC in 2001.

funny thing is: stafford really isn't that good either...

No, but he's alright, and at least his own fans don't constantly snipe about how they want him gone because he's not as good as Zeier or Bobo or Greene were.

No one is complaining or stacking him up against JR he was a no. 1 pick. Heck, people only bit**ed about flynn because he wasn't as accurate and smart with the ball as everyone claimed while JR was at LSU. Imagine JR had those stats and les was pulling him the majority of the time in the middle of the third quarter more times than not. I think it would be more impressive if he showed steady progression that JR showed while he was at LSU vice Stafford. That is all I'm saying.

Lee is dramatically better now than he was at the beginning of the season, but people are too stupid to realize this. That's all I'm saying.
