Jefferson said his relationship with Lee, with whom he shared time last season, has remained strong. He said he's supported Lee throughout the season, and although his goal is to regain the starting job, he will "do what's best for the team."
JL was quoted as giving recognition to JJ's talents. The quote you cite is in no way an endorsement or recognition of JL's talents or contributions, but I'm not surprised that you couldn't tell the difference.

Serious question, are you illiterate?
Lee says twice (generalizing here) that he wants to do what's best for the team.
Jefferson says he supports Lee and wants to do what's best for the team.
But your argument is because Jefferson doesn't single out a specific talent of Lee's and mention it, the quotes are not comparable?
Keep fighting the good fight.

Lee probably won't be an NFL QB, but he'll have two MNC championship rings and the respect of anyone who ever cheered for the purple and gold.
The kid has character. That's a rare commodity.

No one cares if you have a problem, bc the team certainly doesn't.

How would telling a public lie help LSU win any games?
Seriously?
So, JJ is a better passer than Lee?
Maybe I am mixed up about which player is Lee, and which is Jefferson...
