everyone, I took a moment from my studying (because we are all obviously just stupid college kids) and reviewed a sampling of Canton's posts. Guy is a straight up monkeydick. I would be willing to bet his D&D background and Magic card collection is as well versed as his affinity for statistics.

I could easily see him angrily scribbling in crayon his intentions to blow something up to show the world how important he is......

Pathetic really.

Never claim something that you don't already know the answer for. It makes everything else you state come into question (my momma always told me this)
quote:

L 1-10 L23 LSU drive start at 03:17.
L 1-10 L23 Jo. Jefferson at QB for LSU.
L 1-10 L23 Michael Ford rush for loss of 3 yards to the LS20 (D. Milliner).
L 2-13 L20 Clock 03:11.
L 2-13 L20 Jarrett Lee at QB for LSU.
L 2-13 L20 Stevan Ridley rush for no gain to the LS20 (D. Milliner;Damion Square).
L 3-13 L20 Timeout Alabama, clock 02:49.
L 3-13 L20 Jarrett Lee pass complete to Rueben Randle for 47 yards to the UA33; 1ST DOWN LS,, (D. Sentimore),

If he had to sit out the 2nd down play, why was he still on the bench for the 3rd down play?

yes, I later corrected, he came out after 1st down...either way, he wasn't pulled because Les didn't trust him with the 3rd down pass as was asserted.

He did pull Jefferson for the final drives of the UT and Florida games, and the Auburn game, and whenever we were in trouble and needed a QB who could consistently complete a forward pass.

On 1st down, Jefferson got crushed on a option. He came out. Lee came in. On second down, LSU ran the ball. On third down, the rush forced Lee to step up in the pocket and he threw a completion to a wide open RR.

Lee was the two-minute drill QB.

In both game ending drives in the Tennessee and Florida games, Lee could not get the job done without LSU going for in on fourth down.

He also got an opportunity to go for it on fourth down in the Auburn game.

I disagree. BTW, can you provide evidence to support your position? Maybe LSU's very high offensive ratings the past two years....

Oregon has a good D btw.
UO 77th Total D.
All the rest are around 50 and up, besides WVU who just moved into the 20s after holding BGU to 10pts.
The only glaring stat difference is scoring and 48 points are benefit of FCS foe, (I know +40pts have been put up on 2 other opps).. I think we've been thru all this before.
LSU has looked pretty good, with UK win somewhat troubling for me. We'll find out more this weekend.

Let's hope he is a force on the field when he gets into the games and performs well.

Let's hope Les doesn't mess the offense and he doesn't get in the game.

It was 131.

Well, I'm happy with our scoring and if we still in the top 20 at seasons end I will be down right bout to pee in my pants happy.

Last season we ended up 45th.

If I had to put money on it, I would bet our scoring ranking would head into the 30ies just cause of what lays ahead of us in the SEC, but who knows.

And I understand wins/margin of wins matters. We will see what happens when wins/margin of win comes a tad harder to maintain as we move into the meat of the SEC.

I have a feeling our offense is going to start making me sick. And by sick, I mean feeling like I did last 2 years.

drop that game from the numbers, and it's still glaring.

I did that already for myself...it's like 35+.

Damn strong number for the 4 teams we faced.

Love to see it remain at that level.

I was hoping it was just the hangover for UK. Thank God the UF game is 3 hours later.
