I never ever boo the players either. I try to remember that they are 19- 22 year old young men playing a game they love while working towards a degree. Life lessons can be taught here and most will never play past college. Let's all support OUR team and never boo, regardless of how many mistakes they make, they're still our LSU Tigers !!

Great post about our starting QB. With a half page of responses. While there is a 40+ page thread on the suspended player (well, only one of them) that has been charged with a felony. Guess we know priorities of our fanbase.

so are we just supposed to ditch the qb who is suspended....that makes PERFECT sense....

The problem with all ya'll is the focus on one player or another....it's a TEAM sport. Let 'em play it that way. Line blocks, receivers catch, qb connects. It is not the Lee/Jefferson Tigers.

I liked what LM said monday.

"He is excited to have the opportunity that he came here to do. He is upset about our team’s loss but excited for his opportunity.”

Character is becoming more and more rare these days it seems, especially in college football. I was reading these quotes and find them applicable to Jarrett Lee who is indeed a person of character and I commend him for that.

You forgot to mention that this kid must have one helluva set of brass balls to have taken all the crap and still play thru it all.

No, didn't get it from him. I just was thinking about the character of players and how Lee has handled the adversity dealt him for the past couple of years. A lessor person would have quit or transferred or been a distraction to the team, but Lee handled it like a champ.

He's the kind of guy I'd like to have if I were in a life or death situation. I'd know I could depend on him.
