You tend to rack up yards when you are constantly playing from 14 down

Why? because teams like to be caught up to? I dont really agree here.

Folks the defense gave up a half a hundred in two games.

Minus (a) 21 pts directly attributable to 3 "pick 6's" and (b) at least another 9-12 points on FG's being set up by interceptions.

plus a few missed blocking assignments, and a few blown coverages, and a few dropped balls, and a few misreads by the running backs, and a few this and a few that....heck, we coulda won those games if we played perfect.....OH and we also coulda won every game we ever played too. (sarcasm).

FWIW the word 'opine" is homosexual.

Only to people like you, "wolf sh t," who think such. Plus it seems you understand a lot about homosexuality, judging from your bio. Is this your coming out post?

All things considered, the defensive Co's ARE horrible. Some of the worst in LSU history.

There that's better.

Lee will never be great.

Kinda like JaMarcus, Vince Young, Jason Campbell, and Stafford never improved from the freshman year?

Lee was not the person who sent in the dreaded pass the first frickin play of the game, that was the OC HUGE mistake.
This was a disastrous call that should have been avoided like the plague, We should have handed the ball to SCOTT and let our big O line push the dawgs around a little bit before attempting a pass, that along with some play-action stuff. As smart as our OC supposed to be some of the stuff he calls or does not call is just plain wacky. These coaches are not perfect by any means. But that first call against UGA was plain stupid. And I don't care what the reason was or was not for calling that pass play.
Lee has made mistakes but he is NOT the problem.

The play calling some times does not play to Lees strengths. It is rather strange sometimes to me too.
Lee is gonna be a great player as soon as he gets comfortable. I think the kid has done great considering the teams his first three starts were against. Its not like he was starting against rent a wins to gain experience or confidence.
Before people bash lee they need to step back and consider the position this kid has been thrown into.
Your first start is an away game in the swamp against one of the best teams in the country much less the SEC. The next game another away game against a good SEC team. The next game is a huge home game with the a huge amount of season success riding on it against another great team.
Many people want to bash the kid but never consider what kind of situation he is in.
I say let the kid develop and support him.

Right now, I see Lee's situation as a freshman/learning situation.

Our defense is putting us, and therefore, our QB and team under pressure to make plays and mistakes will happen under pressure.

Our O line has not quite played to their potential.
Lee has made mistakes, but that's expected.
Also, when playing from behind, teams know that passing is a MUST and key-in on such more.( I know a couple of Ints. were not from behind)

Lee should mature and be OK. Our D should have already matured.
Having said that "Garbage In-Garbage Out" if the input from D coaches is not "quality plays and clear implementation"
the output will not be good.

it all works together.

Part of the other team's strategy is to disrupt our line and pressure a young QB.
