Im assuming Queen and phillips return since it seems both of their stock are down this year. Does the kid from Va. ,Sampah, have a chance to play? i watched his film in the middle he looks pretty good. We seem to have recruited big guys that dont move well, minus queen, and have trouble
getting away from blocks and in coverage. Do we start getting lighter guys like D. jones , m. brooks . Didnt realize Devin White was going to be missed so badly.I mean Phillips was supposed to be preseason top LB in SEC.

Yes.

You thought we could replace a Butkus winner and arguably the best Mike linebacker in LSU history and "no big deal"?

Interdasting...

I wouldn't assume Phillips is coming back. Not saying he's definitely out, but after starting 2 years that's a lot of film and a lot of guys are perfectly fine being mid-late round selections.

Don't overlook Josh White. He gets somewhat overlooked in the 2020 class. The staff is VERY high on him.

eta. I don't see Phillips staying. He's going to get a 2-3 round grade with a ton of film already out there.

Donte Starks from the 2019 class is taking a redshirt this year. He was highly recruited but qualified late. He might work himself into the rotation.
