If he can't play week 1 is chaisson the answer?
How much different do you think the d will look without him?

Seems the consensus depth charts I googled have Thornton and Anthony behind Key.

Nothing new, but there was a report a week ago basically saying the staff has been preparing for him to be out if he doesn't make it back for week 1. Divinity, who moved back outside, Thornton, Anthony, Thompson and Chaisson would be in the mix.

I believe Thornton got some PT last year, could be wrong. I'd imagine if Key is out Divinity has the most diversity of any LB we have so he'd be a great 1st and 2nd down Buck guy and in 3rd and long Thornton would be your guy applying the pressure!

Sci Martin was out in the spring but isn't he still in the mix for playing time as a situational pass rusher?
Oh and at this point, I'm just going to expect minimal playing time from Key and be pleasantly surprised if he makes it back for SEC play.

Thornton will step in for Arden! They will rotate him and Anthony. Also chaisson will proll see some reps on 3rd and long! He will eventually be almost an everydown player next year

No Thompson doesn't play the buck. He will start at the other OLB
