So all we can really expect to do is be somewhere near total statistics by the end of the year? That's a bummer.

Tech is coming off a game against Southern so let's pump the brakes a bit on their stats.

Has anyone made the point that often times the LSU offense was on a shorter field? Miami’s punter was so terrible we didn’t need to put together 80 yard drives. Jacoby Stevens returns a ball 70 yards so offense only needs to get 30 yards, etc. That’s one things that is skewing numbers against LSU.

INB4 we need to clean up dropped passes and 3rd down conversions.

They hired Holtz partially because he wasn’t a guy they had to worry about running off soon.

Because they haven't played Miami or Auburn.

Comparing stats without considering the qualitt of the competion is pointless and stupid.

Holtz is in his mid 50's and has only coached mid majors. He also pretty much drove USF into the ground.

Common misconception is that people hear "son of Lou Holtz" and automatically think of a young coach but they forget that Lou is a billion years old.

how two teams with such a big talent gap could be this far apart when it comes to statistics.

As a Tech alum and fan, I think the reason is that we had gone through all of the NCAA Famous/Successful Coaches Son's who follow in dad's footsteps except for Skip..

I think being a coaches son is a job pre-requisite..
