A lot of misinformation in this thread.
1. Kyle’s family did not stay in Ruston. Kyle sold his house to Sam Burns and they all moved to Baton Rouge. Kyle’s wife is from BR and their kids go to school where she went to school.
2. He wasn’t let go. Kyle was out prior to the hiring of LK. Kyle hasn’t been happy with the job for a while. Just not his cup of tea. It has been known in Ruston for months that he wasn’t exactly happy. That’s not a knock on LSU, just not what he thought it was going to be. Leaving was his choice. You would have to be a fool to think he wasn’t successful or couldn’t recruit.
3. Kyle owns property in Ruston and will likely build there if they move back, which is likely the case. Kyle, and his family, were happy in Ruston. Kyle still has extended family in the area and they are all close.
4. It was mentioned that he preferred coaching in the NFL more than college. Also false. He hasn’t coached in the NFL.
5. If I had a guess, Kyle and his family will be back in Ruston before the next school year. Does that mean he will be back at Ruston High School? Who knows, but I sure hope so. He has a lot of passion for coaching and developing young men on the football field and they respond to him.

What will he do for a job now though?

Sucks he’s gone. Former tiger and a really good coach. I wish him the best.

So sounds like Kyle wasn't much of a Brian Kelly fan either. Good luck to him and he is a true tiger.

That just means that we should add 'great perception' to his already strong qualities.
