He's athletic, but he's just not very imposing in my eyes. Lacks some physicality that I think will hold him back

I completely agree.

J Collins' measurables will make scouts drool. Perfect size, speed, and athleticism for a CB. He improved a ton this year too.

Especially against notre dame average WR in which he got destroyed all game

I think Jalen Collins will be lucky to go in the 3rd.

6'2 corner that's played lights out this year? Unless he blows it at the combine, I think he'll move up well on the draft board

Is not how I would describe Collins' play. He may be athletic but he was not lights out.

Wut

Dude has two ints in three years

And don't me that talk that qbs fearing to throw to his side.

He had an okay season...nothing to drool over. How many times did he cover the #1 WR? I know Amari owned his arse all game

yeah, but according to the experts on here he's makin a big mistake. Needs to add 10 to 15 pounds. He won't even be drafted! An UDFA!

Collins did improve, but is still lacking. He played Amari Cooper scared. Dude will make an NFL squad, but needs to seriously be coached up. He may be on some taems practice squad.

Yea saying he's not big or physical is retarded. I had class with him. This dude arms were the size of my head. He wore straight white beaters to class too haha.

Just because he can't catch doesn't mean he wasn't a really good corner this year

Give the dude credit, he was awesome all year

And oh he got beat by Amari Cooper? So did everyone else in the damn country. Cooper is a super elite talent, you wouldn't be able to field a football team if you only took guys that could keep up with him

Some of you guys let his poor play from previous year blind you, our defense would've been in trouble without him. He was good this year

Adequate would be the word. Not good! You can see he improved from last season, but he still made mistakes out there. And on Amari Cooper, you can't play anyone like that. I don't give a damn who he is. He'll face an Amari Cooper or better in the NFL every weekend.

him going up against ODB Jr and Landry last season in practice all the time should have made him well prepared to play Cooper.

Lol wife beater is a slang thing it's really white. Same if it were blue

ETA: I just looked it up and I have no clue I think white and wife are both slangs.

I agree. Collins was a top-notch CB.

He can be ferocious in the run game. His physicality vs. Wisconsin in the opener was rare for a corner, and he was good against the pass throughout the year.
