No I think anybody playin SEC football should have a substantial amount of weight and strength on them and
not be rail thin... Rashard Robinson needs to put on weight and muscle before he can and will become a starter in the SEC... 6'2 164 will not cut it
Sorry it's not hard to comprehend and anybody who disagrees either lacks common sense or is clueless

Funny, after his INT last week, Mills was the next in the line of Peterson and Claiborne.
He had a bad quarter saturday, but Mills still needs to be in the starting lineup. Collins, on the other hand should probably be the third or 4th CB.

Could this be a new attitude coming in with Cam? Maybe Miles was all about the seniority, and had a say in the defense? Now that Cam is here and has autonomy on O, he might be tossing out some suggestions for the D, and Chief may feel more comfortable asserting himself?

It's a good move . Mills gets beat a lot

LSUKnight, you're assuming a lot. First off that the heights and weights on the roster are exact. Much more important than height and weight is courage.
Go watch the replay and tell me how interested Collins was in supporting the run. The first play Tre White was in was in the middle of a series when UAB ran to Collins' side 3 straight times. The third one had little or no gain because White was in the game and came up to support the run.
I don't care how much you weigh if you don't want to hit someone. You do realize a 6'1" 190 # corner does us no good if they won't come up field and turn the ball inside.
Mills' errors were mostly technical and can be coached. However, you can't coach courage and Collins likes to play with too much finesse and that's as nice as I can put it.

When that happens, starting cornerback Jalen Mills will likely move to the third cornerback spot

No fricking way
Mills is too damn good. I could see White becoming the #2 and Robinson becoming the #3, but no way Mills slides.

I started a thread during the game suggesting Collins would lose his starting position and several of the resident geniuses derided me (cough cough rickdaddy). How ya like me now boys?

I laugh at anyone who actually believes someone is going to take Mills CB spot

I agree collins has been subpar and courage but this isn't notre dame Rudy if Robinson were starting today against a SEC team he would liability and get pushed around due to his strength and his body would take unnecesary punishment.
People are reaching way to much concerning him starting.
I would place a ban bet that Robinson does not enter the 3 deep cornerback rotation/ dime package this year.

this is the rant where they want every true frosh to start. Just wait until next year when they're all calling for paris and brown to play over white and robinson

Funny coming from you ... Aren't you part of the 6 hesmien club?

Not much of an incentive.
I don't think anyone on here can guarantee 2 frosh are better than Mills and Collins. I'm just saying you're putting way too much emphasis on weight. Sure I wish all our CBs were 190+ but the willingness to initiate contact is much more important than 10 extra lbs.

since we are reaching a bit, let's all play the same game.....maybe the coaching staff is trying to scare kids.
maybe, just maybe.
slow down people. motivation is key.

I definitely think it's a motivational tactic, at least in part.
But for those all worried about White/Robinson tackling, go watch them take down kid after kid that are bigger than them in HS highlights. Both are aggressive/physical guys.

Bench jalen mills? What? He got burned by a speedy speedy wideout, I don't have a problem at all with him in the starting line up. That being said, Collins has been looking really shaky thus far. I hope he improves, but if not, let tre come in
