If it was that easy specialists would be getting scholarships left and right, they could just pull them if the kid sucked. That is not the case. They give you a scholarship…as long as you meet the scholastic and sports requirements of the school…it’s yours for 4 years.

LSU used to bitch about Bama processing kids…it’s not something normal. Processing implies forcing a kid to do something besides taking up the scholarship you promised. Yea, some might go get playing time somewhere else, some might get transferred to an injury status, non-athletic scholarship…but still…the damn offer was for 4 years.
