he missed an assignment but its not like the kid burned him down the field. Looked like PP was playing up in a zone and the kid just kept running with no safety over the top.

both games were poor weather which negated our one true advantage (which they really were)

yes we romped penn state last year and they beat you. and we're 1 and 2 in natl title games fwiw.

did i say that they don't??? i said the nfl agrees that sec speed is superior if you look at the percentage of players that each conference puts out. deep down you know this too, but i understand your reluctance to accept it.

you're right.
the sec should succeed. they are so great and fast. they always dominate the slow big ten (see last bowl season) the big ten teams simply can't hang with them

at you bringing up a bowl record for the not so big 10 the one year they show up. how did they do the few years leading up to that? and any knowledgable college football fan knows that bringing up this conferance vs that conference bowl record is not a valid argument anyway due to the disparities in matchups between how high teams are ranked from those conferences that play each other.Posted on 10/8/10 at 12:08 am to finallyfastohio
1-2 isn't a good record last I checked. Ohio State got a beat down from Florida. LSU managed 2 losses in 2007.One to Kentucky and the other Arkansas but beat that Buckeye a$$.

no, miami was a great team, and that was a great victory for your program. i'm just saying your last two showings in the big game have been very disappointing to say the least, and the miami win was almost 10 years ago. for this reason, us southern folk say that it is like fraud to see you waltz through what we call an easy schedule just to get trampled in the big game again. obviously, if you guys get there and win it, we will be forced to change that line of thinking and give credit where credit is due. or at least us rational folk will.

i think you know you would much rather be in a buckeye fans shoe right now, at least as long as the mad hatter is at the helm. nothing you can say can change my mind.

we're finally getting a conf champ game, oh and don't tell anybody we are adding one of the hottest up and coming team in the nation (with your former d coord) and the best team in the big 12. the big 10 is only getting stronger....

im saying your bowl record was not nearly as impressive as it was last year in the years before that. and yes people do believe what the media tells them, like our team is incompetent and the worst 5-0 team in college footbal history. even though we have the top rusher in the SEC, the best defense, and the best special teams. not to mention arguably the most talented receiving corps.
