while I get that stars aren't everything, this underscores a very major problem happening right now. LSU could very easily fall behind in NIL with UT / Sooners coming to the SEC.

Stars aren’t the issue. Relying on the portal to fill big holes like DT are the issue
It was just last calendar year we suited, what, under 40 dudes including a WR playing QB.
It's kinda hard to stock depth 3 deep with 4 stars in that little time.
