This seems to always happen to LSU in close road games when they play in the state of Alabama.

You see this in virtually every SEC game. It's been like this for a very long time. It's not a Bama thing, it's an SEC thing. We suck at officiating in this league.

The physical play that is now allowed in all of college bball is just ruining the game. Hell, even he NBA has reigned in some of the physical play. It's not really fun to watch. But the SEC seems to be the worst of all the big conferences.

Answer these questions

1. Who did we play?
2. Where did we play?
3. Where is the SEC office located?

nothing will come of an inquiry

move on to the next game

I believe coaches can submit through the league office tape evidence of questionable calls. However, what happened this evening calls for, at minimum, an inquiry.

I don't normally give a team a pass based on poor officiating. I believe that players should expect it, suck it up and play through it, play harder and make better decisions.
BUT the 'bama game calling was just over the top. The game was so close, that this time the countless bad calls made a huge impact on the final result. Plus some of the suspect calls were so blatant, they were ridiculous, especially those down the stretch.
Did this have anything to do with their humiliating loss to instate rivals Auburn, and the fact that they were playing their next game in their own house? (Sarcasm).
An inquiry is definitely called for, but I would be concerned that this might come back to bite LSU.

Other than Kentucky who gets calls in any arena if they are even halfway decent, SEC officiating is usually biased toward the home team. This was not the case for LSU when TJ was coaching.

We got some awful calls in our favor in the Vanderbilt game.
