Jay is essentially a kingmaker at this point, with assistants getting big HC gigs. Reminds me of the fight Saban had with his coordinators. He will be fine if he keeps hitting these hires out of the park. With the success he has had in setting up his assistant for their next gig, I doubt he will have trouble getting applicants.

But there is talent there and some on MSU's roster. He's a hell of a baseball coach, they'll be competitive next year in the SEC every weekend and a top 4-5 program again in the conference in 2 years (which means top 10-15 in the country). That's my prediction and I'm only wrong like half the time.

Jay has a steadfast coaches pipeline going where his assistants are in demand for head coaching jobs. We’re lucky to have held on to Wanaka as long as we have.
