It's not new. We've seen it before. Just has a new name in 2009. Hybrid LB/DB now. Drop Linebacker back in the Dark Ages of DiNardo and Tepper. Just call it the new and improved John Chavis version of the Tepperbacker. SHOULD work better now that quicker Safetys will be playing the position, (instead of bigger and slower linebackers) and because the Hybrid LB/DB Tepperbackers will be playing all the time instead of just in obvious passing downs......
