Will he play when Hatch is said to play as a backup to Lee?

lee's biggest problem is he's a fricking statue. i think he has a good arm and isn't brain dead. he obviosuly gets in his own head though. he'll be at worst what flynn was in his 5th year by next year IMO except for the ability to move otuside of the pocket.

JJ threw for 1000 more yards than Pryor in his SR yr. That was in 5-A ball vs 2-A ball for Pryor in Pennsylvania.

Pryor was a 5 star recruit. Lee and JJ are 4 star recruits. Rivals had Pryor as the #1 OVERALL recruit in the nation (2008), while JJ was the #208 OVERALL recruit in the nation that same year. The year before, Lee was ranked somewhere between the #101 and #250 OVERALL recruit in the nation.

Guy like Pryor are a lot more rare than guys like JJ.

QB Recruits that were similar to Pryor were Georgia's Matthew Stafford (#6 OVERALL recruit 2006), Florida's Tim Tebow (#22 OVERALL recruit, 2006), LSU's Ryan Perrilloux (#16 OVERALL recruit in 2005), Notre Dame's Jimmy Clausen (#1 OVERALL recruit 2007), Southern Cal's Mark Sanchez (#7 OVERALL recruit 2005). LSU's Russell Shepard is currently the #8 OVERALL recruit for 2009.

Other recruits that were similar to Pryor were:

Alabama's Julio Jones (#4 OVERALL recruit 2008)

LSU's Pat Peterson (#5 OVERALL recruit 2008)

Georgia's AJ Green (#9 OVERALL recruit 2008)

Florida's Will Hill (#10 OVERALL recruit 2008)

Tenn's Eric Berry (#2 OVERALL recruit 2007)

Florida's Percy Harvin (#1 OVERALL recruit 2006)

Alabama's Andre Smith (#2 OVERALL recruit 2006)

Ohio State's Beanie Wells (#3 OVERALL recruit, 2006)

Southern Cal's Rey Maualuga (#5 OVERALL recruit, 2005)

Oklahoma's Adrian Peterson (#1 OVERALL recruit, 2004)

Ohio State's Ted Ginn (#2 OVERALL recruit, 2004)

Southern Cal's Reggie Bush (#2 OVERALL recruit, 2003)

etc

JJ was injured mid-season during his JR yr. usually the rankings are establishing after the JR yr.

had JJ not got injured, i think he would've easily been a top100 in rivals.

Good God. Thank you for pointing out that five-star recruits are often good in college. This has little to do with Jordan Jefferson's potential.

Yes this is true JJ got hurt half-way thru his JR season. But, he still threw for over 1,000 yards and 15 tds to 2 ints before the injury.
So you tell me if he had that entire year he would've been right up there with TP and the rest of the top QB's in the country.
