LSU has run out of water on a few occasions as well.

Well you guys are VERY spoiled with the Golden Girls.
i agree

Very fat flag girls though
Our flag girls (not all, but most) are cute as well. Bama's flag girls are porkers - at the indy bowl last year a fan actually yelled, "What the hell!! They got a pregnant chick out there!" When people saw who he was talking about even the cotton candy guy collapsed with laughter.

Florida, Arkansas, & Tulane all have a fig boy on their squad as well.

I went last time and we had upper deck tickets. We found an Auburn fan selling two tickets and we traded him our 2 plus $20 and got badass seats.

How is the parking situation on campus? Is it similar to LSU where you can go park in T Wayne's front yard for 10 bucks?

i was at that awful game where we threw all those interceptions returned for touchdowns....
but there is not really a bad seat in that place. the field is elevated or stadium dug out, whatever, good seats all around.
fans were cool. troppers let us speed like crazy, guess they felt sorry for our blowing that game so bad....

Free spots all along the streets on the edge of campus.
Some fraternities sell spots in their lots for $10-$20.
Don't try to park too close if you wanna get out of Auburn after the game though.

I've been to a couple. While it's not TS, I thought it was intimidating - more so that Bryant Denny.

I go to Auburn every other year and love it. Great road trip in my opinion. Fans are about as friendly as you are going to get at and SEC game and the stadium is real nice.

As far as the stadium, the visitors get a corner next to our band in one endzone, and the highest nose bleeds that you could ever imagine. Your ears actually pop when you climb the upper deck.
I think that the visitor seats in the upper deck at UGA are far worse. We were so far from the field that we didn't even feel like we were in the stadium. Of all of the SEC football stadiums I've been to, LSU gives visitors the largest number of seats in the lower bowl.

Jordan-Hare is cool. The rest of Auburn (tailgating, campus, town, fans) is horrible. I've been twice and I refuse to go again. I'd rather go to Starkville.

I use Stubhub and I also use Ticket Liquidators. The tickets are marginally more expensive than those you might find elsewhere, but the tickets are guaranteed, and they have worked well for me.
I bought four sets off the net this year for LSU home games. They gotta be good because I fly down from MN for those games. They were all good last year.

The upper deck is a great place to watch a barn burn. Was sitting there during the fire game as flames shot up behind us. The stadium there is nice and all seats are pretty good. The endzone would be best in terms of LSU fans because you're near the band, etc. However, the upper deck seats are fine.

I am surprised to see this many positive things said about a gameday experience at AU. I went in 04 and 06 and had the worst time. My opinion of the nightlife sucked, and the only reason we had a good time tailgating was because it was with TUB.
Oh and the game not being decided on the field wasn't great either.

Same here. I wasn't overly impressed with the town or the campus. Athens, Fayetteville, and even Oxford are much nicer college towns, and AU has nothing on LSU when it comes to having a beautiful campus. I thought Toomer's Corner has kind of lame. Thank God LSU won the time I was up there so the Barner's didn't have a chance to go on one of their toilet paper rolling sprees.
Fan interaction wise, I'd say they were nicer than UF and UGA fans, but not as cool as Bama.

I'll be making my first road trip to Auburn also. Bought my tickets on ebay they suppose to arrive the week of the game. Are there any places to party at night.

Exactly. Auburn's entire gameday reeks of mediocrity. Pre-game eagle is cool though.

I've been going to games in JHS for nearly 40 years. Sitting in the upper deck is fine, you can see as long as you're not all the way to the top.
The atmosphere is good and mostly friendly. Try not to get too tanked up before the game or you might run into trouble. The fans will put up with enthusiasm for the opposing team, but drunken jackass behavior will get you removed from the stadium 5 minutes into the first quarter.
The end zone seats aren't that great overall, but the visitor end zone seats are okay because you're close to the team, cheerleaders, band, etc.
Parking is a problem. Expect to walk a mile to the stadium, unless you are arriving before game day. There is free street-side parking in the residential areas, but, again, you're going to walk at least a mile. If you're arriving less than 3 hours before game time, expect to walk a lot further. Previous poster was right, if you want to get out of town quickly, don't park anywhere close to the stadium.
The tailgating is fine, but don't expect much nightlife or first-rate restaurants. There are chain restaurants like McDonald's, Chick-fil-A, Subway, etc on campus. There are better restaurants within driving distance, but you can't eat at those restaurants then walk to the stadium. If you're just going to be there for gameday, then eat a square meal in Montgomery before you get to Auburn and snack the rest of the time.
