How about that Eric Musselman?
It will be interesting one day to look back at all the greats that were groomed by the master.

Yea. Should have promoted Musselman the second he walked on campus before he wised up and left.

I hope people are paying attention to this tourney. Houston has 1 top 100 recruit, he was the 75th player in his class and he’s played in 7 games all year. Arkansas has no top 60 recruits and are led by a Sr. with 3 other Srs. In the rotation. You don’t have to recruit NBA prospects to win in college basketball.

Sure but let's not act like both those teams aren't supremely talented

They’ve developed players who fit into their system. We did the same with Skylar Mays, the point is you don’t need 5* guys who bail after a year to win in college basketball. That’s not what wins in March anyway.

You’re helping him make his very accurate point. Good basketball can be taught to good players who then create a great team.

Texas Tech’s got 2 top 100 guys, both ranked in the 80s

He coached 20+ years in professional basketball before coaching in college. I’m not sure I would say he came from Jones coaching tree

Johnny's nurturing and development can't be discounted.
