Listening to Moscona today and someone called in saying LSU should hire John Gruden. Why does his name always come up? He hasn't coached in 8 years.

he would be terrible, his claim to fame is walking into a Switzer/Cowboys situation, to me he's more like an Archer/Kiffin type of guy

This one time, Gruden made a comment saying something like "I would love to be the coach at LSU..." I think it was about our stable of running backs.

Ever since that ONE TIME, likely tongue-in-cheek statement, there are several bozos that won't forget and think it was a real sentiment.

Lol. Yeah it was if I ever came back to coaching I would want to be the running backs coach at LSU. People took off and ran with it.

ESPN pays him $6 million to do Monday Night Football. He isn't leaving that to work harder as a coach year round.
