John Chavis once jacked off in an 18 wheeler.

Ghosts sit around campfires and tell stories about Chief Chavis.

When taking the SAT, write "Chief Chavis" for every answer. You will score over 8000.

Did I ever tell y'all about the time Chavis took me out to go get a drink with him? We go off looking for a bar and we can't find one. Finally Chavis takes me to a vacant lot and says, 'Here we are.' We sat there for a year and a half and sure enough someone constructs a bar around us. The day they opened we ordered a shot, drank it, and then burned the place to the ground. Chavis yelled over the roar of the flames, 'Always leave things the way you found em!'

If you drop a phonograph needle on Chavis' nipple, it plays Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash.

I remember oh how quickly that "Third and Chavis" crap was debunked after he dawned the Purple & Gold.
I have much faith in the Chief...just worried that the offense won't give the D enough rest.

If LSU had an offensive coordinator 1/2 a good as Chavis LSU would have more NC's. The offense has ruined LSU for over 4 years.

Before being coached by John Chavis, Albert Haynesworth had self-esteem issues.

Think about where this defense was with Malveto. In comes Chavis and what have you had on Defense since? I will tell you...the anchor that keeps this program in the top 5 every year. Now, since Jimbo Fisher left in 2006, you've had a steady decline in offense outside of the 2007 Year with Crowton. The offense has been a clusterfrick of ineptitude since. Just stand back and imagine for a second where LSU would be without this defense/coordinator.
I'm sure someone can find some stats that might make an argument for me being wrong about the offense. However, it's easy to look good on O when you've got an NFL defense giving you first rate field position or a punter that puts the opposition starting inside their own 10. So some stats might be a little skewed.
