There were many plays where Tua had to leave the pocket. He just looks down field and makes a play. Burrow had at least 3 seconds for most of the night, but he always needs 5 seconds to get rid of the ball. Some is poor decision making and some of it is poor scheme. The oline is weak, but they are made to look worse with the QB/ scheme. Ensminger is fricking trash and has never done anything to deserve that position. Name a coach on the planet that could not put up at least zero points against Bama in 8 quarters. Why the hell are they wasting time with play action when you have negative rush yards. You utilize play action when there is a threat to run successfully. If not, then it is a waste and the play is developing too slow. Most teams accidentally score once in a game. Burrow and the offense are ranked at the bottom of the conference in most categories. Tired of hearing about talent. Purdue was not more talented than Ohio State, but they had a scheme with imagination.

He's not the problem...but he's also not the solution.

I think as of now the offensive struggles are based upon this:
1. Offensive line being blatantly awful
2. Steve Ensminger, playcalling, gameplan
3. Burrow
4. Still notice WR drops

Yep, pretty sure army has as many passing TD’s as LSU does

Neither of your two paragraphs addresses the fact that he can’t throw a football accurately.
Well 1) that's because he CAN throw it accurately and 2) I said in my post that the issue is he came from no meaningful QB play since HS to the SEC. which shouldn't be an issue if you have a good QB coach to help you along, but sadly he doesn't.
LSU has taken a develop yourself approach to the QB and it's shown ever since Jimbo left as OC.

I agree.
Freeze didn't have a great line when he beat Bama...neither did Sumlin. Gus' was pretty good, but not dominant. They just brought a system that put pressure on Bama's D. We do not.

He’s really good. You’re just all idiots, that’s the problem. We are 89th in the nation in sacks allowed, don’t be morons.

Yall are so funny. He's a decent QB. Alabama makes QB's look bad. One game people. He was SEC offensive player of the week 2 times already.
Seriously? So you think a "decent" QB on the season would have 6 TD's and 5 INT's in 9 games? When was the last time he threw a TD pass? This kid isn't good. He's just the best we currently have. However, he probably would look better under Meyers since he's better at the offensive side of the ball.
