JJ should be the starter period.
Not just no, but heck no.

We finally ran into a team with a good defense, and he got exposed.
Hanigriff was saying a short time ago that a source of his told him Bama has 5 top 50 (or 15 -- wasn't sure) NFL draft picks on defense. He also said that LSU hasn't faced a defense like that so far this season, won't face one like that the rest of the year, and may not see one like that for another 15 years.
Judging Lee's performance and worthiness as a starter based on this one game is absurd.
Clearly, we need both QB's. But if you don't think Lee has earned the starting position moving forward, you've got problems.

Lee was jacked by Miles - period. All that confidence he had gained was undermined by the 2 QB system.
Yes, LSU moved the ball a little under Jefferson, but you could hardly call that an offensive display - granted it's Alabama you are facing.
JJ being "money" is an absurd thing to say. If anyone played scared, it was the coaching staff playing too scared to throw. LSU didn't even try to get the vertical passing game going, and Lee could have done that if given the chance.
Still, a win is a win, but now we have a serious question about the QB spot going into the last few weeks.

Lol what the frick did jj do win the game?
60% no ints 3.9ypc, same as TR.
What did you want, more ints with Lee?
I like Lee, but the situation was more than he could endure evidently.
The Gumps hate them some dual threat QBs.
Props to CLM for realizing the situation and making the change.

I believe its JJ natural look to look confused and JL to look scared. I dont believe either one is... I just think they look that way when playing. It would be nice if they appeared like matt Flynn - but they dont.
I take them as is.

It was just plain painful to watch this much ineptitude from 2 five year seniors.
JL simply cratered under pressure which was sad to see. He had two rushed throws off his shuffling back feet. Looked scared. Period.
But if we start JJ from here on out we are really in trouble. He was sorry tonight - the guy makes one bad decision after another...
I also think Coach Stud and Miles had a poor offensive game plan. I saw no dump offs or screens to take care of the pressure. Very poor all around.

JJ played poor except on a handful of options. He long scramble was really nice but he was not money. He still can't throw and he demonstrated once again the amazing ability to make a sack a possibility on every snap.
JL played bad but I didn't think at the time we should have pulled him completely. I was pretty sure we would have needed some passing to win, thankfully I was wrong.

Both Miles and Saban were playing conservatively.
The difference is that Miles plays to win and Saban plays not to lose. And there is a difference.
We had a few instances of crappy field position and had either of Lee's interceptions had been at those times, we'd have lost big.

I don't think he looked scared. He just screwed up.

Mayhawman - why the name? Mayhaws in the western USA?

Jefferson didnt do shite to win this game. It was our INCREDIBLE defense. Jefferson is a dickhead.

JL does not like to be hit, take a hit, or appear to about to be hit.
I don't know why you guys keep making excuses. That's why we see the happy feet and throws off the back foot. Give him protection in the pocket, he's much better. A little pressure, here comes the "throw and bail" or the "throw and duck".
Miles knows this and knows just how manage him. It's the idiots in Tiger Stadium and on this message board that can't seem to accept it. I'm glad Miles gets to see these guys in live action in practice. There's no green jersey on Saturdays.

Are you fricking stupid? JJ managed the game, oh btw against Bama, oh yea btw in tuscaloosa! Why when jj manages a game you and other losers give him shite but when Lee manages a game he's the best thing since sliced bread? Lee played poorly, JJ managed against the 2nd best D in the nation. Get over it.

Our receivers were not getting open on downfield routes. JL had no place to go with the ball. Neither did JJ, but he could still run.
