re: jj shooting dice per finebaun

I agree on two counts: 1) the re-match should have never happened(remember the Ole Miss rematch didn't turn out well...21-0...do folks never learn from history)...the answer is always NO! 2) that game was definitely the worst performance of JJ's career...what the reason was;I don't know...but he looked lethargic and uninspired...something was not normal...before that game, I had a lot of respect for JJ as a damn tough football player...but it's time to move on....

starting QB in the natl championship game, in a casino, with every swinging dick in there having a camera.

I work with a few bama fans, and when the conversation comes up, they never have an answer to this.

Making LSU play Alabama again basically said:

-beating them in the regular season didn't matter

-going undefeated didn't matter

-winning the West didn't matter

-winning the SEC didn't matter

Alabama did none of this and still had a shot.


The game itself annoys me, obviously, but the fact that it even happened is more of a sore spot.
