You don't have a clue! If it gets dropped to a misdemeanor, JJ will play, no matter what he pleads. How many guys with misdemeanors do you think the team has right now?

I just have never liked him as qb for this team.
this situation doesnt make me like him or dislike him any more or less.
It just gives me another reason why I dont think he should be the starting LSU qb.

The DA hasn't even charged him yet. Second degree battery is what the police arrested him for. Completely different.
I would be surprised if the DA actually pursues the felony. I'd think they'd either bring it to grand jury or just bill him with a misdemeanor. Second degree battery is a damn hard charge to prove in front of a jury.

They've had more than a week knowing that our QB position is not a viable threat to run, under any circumstances. Their DC will jam the box, probably have them dancing like Tennessee's linemen a few years ago.
Even if the line picks it up, Lee throws off the back foot. They have little to lose. Especially run blitzes. I haven't see Lee throw the kind of screens necessary to beat that kind of pressure. Our backs are probably average at best in pass protection.
Jefferson wasn't starting because he was the more accurate passer. He was the best option we had at keeping the defense honest. When Lee can show me he can keep a defense honest, when they've prepared for him all week, without having to spend time preparing for a mobile QB, then championships become a real possibility for me again.

If I say right now that u hit me, the police will come arrest u. Point is that u can be arrested and charged without sufficient evidence, now whether they stick is a coin toss.
