You're telling me there is no way that charge could be reduced to a misdemeanor in a month's time?
I would not be surprised at all to see Jefferson's suspension last 3 games, and he return to the team.
I would be surprised to see him miss 3 games, and return as the starter, though.

he deserves what ever punishment he gets. As the leader how the team he should know to not put himself in that situation to begin with. Do you think peyton manning, tom brady, and drew brees would be out hours after curfew getting into fights? I really don't feel sorry for jj

There is ZERO chance the administration at LSU lets a student athlete facing felony charges play for the nationally televised football team.
Every time he was on tv, it would be mentioned in the same breath as LSU. There is NO POSSIBLE WAY the admin at LSU lets this occur, zero, none, nada, zilch.
Yall are delusional if you think so. Get over the fact the kid is done, please.
this is the correct answer to this thread.

Most people are figuring a 3-4 game suspension with the assumption he pleads down to a misdemeanor. This fool is claiming he'll be back without it even being resolved.

it could, with a plea bargain...
Then he has admitted guilt. Again, NO WAY the admin at LSU lets him on tv.
Forget the fact his attorney is gonna fight this thing. The trial wont even happen until long after the season is over.

As long s he is facing charges...ZERO PERCENT CHANCE

someone behind this case was out for blood. I dont know if one of the "victims" is related to a politician or what, but that was way over the top, even for a VERY high profile case. I still don't know who has this fractured spine and why we haven't heard from him or seen pictures. All we have seen is lowery and i don't think he was the one with the fractured spine, was he? And if he was, in the police report he denied medical treatment and was released in a couple hours.

please drop this whole curfew argument. It is completely irrelevant and extremely weak. You do realize more that 30 players were out that night.

Ok, so breaking curfew and kicking a guy (douche or not) and fracturing vertebrae is not an idiotic move
This, I can assure you, JJ didn't do. JJ is accused of kicking the guy on the ground in either the face, or back of head(depending on the stories I've heard). The fractures are to the low back on a guy that isn't named Lowery. Capice?

All true. But you can not kick a man in the face, no matter what an idiot he is, and no matter if he instigated the whole mess. Once he's down on the ground, he's out, so to speak. Have the good dense to get the FOODodge.
