How exactly is the quote about team win relevant when he follows it with I put my team on my back?
You call 93 yards passing and leading LSU to one FG in regulation putting the team on your back? Before you bring it up the 2nd FG was Mo returning the ball to inside the twenty and JJ leading the offense to two or three more yards before the FG.

Because you pick and choose quotes to attack JJ. Same people did the same thing in his interview after coming back from his suspension.
The guy was coming off the field after an emotional win and didnt give the perfect answer you were looking for. So what? He's been a team player all year and has done everything asked of him since coming back.
It makes you look small and petty when you pick and choose quotes or attack his facial expressions like many people have done.

I sure didn't see anyone calling Mathieu a selfish player when he came off the field against Arkansas and said he put the team on his back and questioned the coaching in the first half of that game.
And its because most people understand that these players aren't perfect when giving interviews.

What about when he said he questioned the coaches? Nobody gives a shite about any other quotes from our players, but they sure disect and scrutinize every word out of JJ's mouth.

Reading comprehension. It was after the Arkansas game.
And the point isn't to pile on Mathieu's quote, it't to show that all players say wrong things from time to time, but we have crazy fans that will do anything they can to pile on JJ.
