Yes he has. He has finally installed studs full arsenal that was worked on the whole off season from the looks of it. We finally saw passes to the running backs and TE's, option, bootleg and rollouts, zone read, play action. Plus the usual plays to the rbs. His passing has definitely improved and I don't hold my breath on the intermediate throws like I do with lee. That pass to Shepard was awesome, he is stronger and more confident. What's not to like? I have never sided with one qb or the other but it looks to me like JJ has separated himself. Krags definitely helped both qb's.

Wtf are you talking about? All his calls are predictable, the offense was not exciting with him at the helm. But that jump pass vs UF was exciting, and that pass from JJ to Randle started a route. LSU's offense isn't meant to be exciting, LSU ain't no mf'n Auburn or Oregon.

The FB counter is painfully obvious to anyone that pays attention at all.
not just that. If its i form-slot, and Beckham is in the game and the 2wr's are to the boundary, its play action with a deep crossing pattern and post behind it. If the two wr's are to the field, its a quick bubble screen(JL package only).

We are 11-0. There are a lot of players that have been awesome, including those that got us off to the 4-0 start in September.

We had actually made it for almost an entire day without a JJ or JL thread on the front page. Thanks for fricking that up.

And you don't think it is extremely predictable that when JJ is in with JC Copeland lined up next to him that it is going to be a "read-option" except JJ is never going to hand it off, he just follows JC as a lead blocker. Haven't seen that play get more than 2 yards yet.

Problem is that Lee has been a good QB but not the right QB for the kind of offense Les Miles wants to run

That is why he was the #2 QB in the SEC and we were averaging 40 points a game? The dumb is strong in this thread. Again.

If JJ had enough snaps, he would be one of, if not the highest rated QBs in the NCAA FBS:

#1 in Yards Per Attempt;
#1 in Interception Percentage;
#3 in QB Rating;
#4 in Touchdown Percentage; and
#21 in Completion Percentage.

That's pretty fricking amazing.

And that's not even counting what he does with his rushing and option skills.

Not his strongest contribution

But I'm sure JustLookAtMe has a table built for that too.

Agreed. He not only looks adequate, he actually looks good.
This.

I have tempered my praise of Jefferson so far this year, but he has definitely turned the corner

You realize that LSU has a defense and special teams right?

You are right though, the dumb is strong in this thread.

Jump pass was great.. But even i predicted that against Florida, even the announcers mentioned because he tried it last season and FAILED.

You better go rewatch the games again with Lee as the starter, they weren't predictable. Long bombs, long passes down the middle, the fake hand out pass. the screen passes.... The slants. the flares...The list goes on ... Lee has a full package and Jefferson has the no brainers ... The game might not be meant to be exciting (your opinion) but it sure was with Lee in.

Jefferson has problems remembering the plays, and that is a fact... They show it on replays all the time, where he has to call Time outs or has to look at his wrist band under the center.

JJ and JL has played heisman-like compared to what a lot of people on here made them out to be.

or a timeout, or a delay of game.

That sword cuts both ways equally. Don't delude yourself.

There is an assumption that Lee is smarter than JJ. . .and I have no real tangible evidence of it.

It is just a blanket assumption.

People have no clue what they are even talking about. Let me help you with football I.Q.'s of less than 100.

During the week, and season as well, in gameplanning in both meetings and practice, there are plays called and the qb are told if the defense lines up in a certain formation, check out of it. Sometimes this check is for a certain play(WR uncovered in a 2 on 1 situation, throw the quick bubble screen, and its automatic as in no communication between the offensive players, and sometimes its wristband, where the QB is supposed to find a play that will work on his wristband and check to it real quick(these plays have also been gone over). Sometimes the defense shifts late and the qb doesn't have time to find the audible or the defense lines up in an unexpected alignment and the QB takes the timeout to talk it iver with the coaches.
