I don't hate Jordan. I've defended him quite a bit. but some of the 'love' he gets is kinda overdoing it.

as for this...

He takes on safety's and lber's, gets hammered repeatedly and gets right back up.

feel free to look up JaMarcus' college highlights. that's JaMarcus Russell if you've only become an LSU fan recently.

I'll trust Coach Miles and his evaluation of players. I don't get you people. Three years in a row Lee and JJ competed and every time they have chosen JJ. The last two years this staff is 23-2. I think they know what they are doing.

He's just such a moron. I have no idea how LSU has won 23 of their last 25.

We haven't even gone to a BCS bowl since JJ has been playing on this team. Get a grip. You people are acting like it's retarded to be concerned that JJ might not be able to lead us to a national championship. What track record does he have that makes you so confident? A few games this year?

The hate on this board is fricking astounding. One of our players gets some props by a random draft analyst and you all can't wait to rip JJ apart. Unbelievable.

+1

Without JJ we would not have beat Bama, period. And if we didn't beat Bama we wouldn't be in the SECCG and likely not in the BCSNC. F all the haters.

Without 10-20 other players and a lot of lucky arse shite happening we would not have beat Bama. Stop acting like he was so outstanding in that game. I don't recall him ever scoring a touchdown or scoring a field goal. He played decently. It was one game.

Exactly.

LSU was lucky he didn't throw back to back interceptions.

If he does great, make some cash, but not a chance in hell he ever plays qb in the pros, not close. He just happens to be along for a ride n a very fast car. Wish him and JL luck but no chance. But someone's got to win the lotto.

Not to be comparing the two but, wasnt Tom Brady drafted REAL LATE?

How'd that turn out? Im sure these same "experts and analyst" had some of the same things to say about Brady when he came out well. All I know is if Tebow is winning games in the pros and cant throw a lick then maybe JJ can somehow prove the doubters wrong.

he can't play QB in the NFL

his release is way, wayyyyyyyyyy too slow. there have been a couple QBs off set a slow release with a very strong arm. those QBs are byron leftwich and chad henne. jefferson doesnt have near the arm strength of those 2

so basically he can be a lesser henne or leftwich

Bruh you're a frickin bitch. Why talk shite about the starting qb for the team you are a "FAN" of. JJ isnt dumb. To insinuate that he is, is a dick move.

Some of the greatest QBs of all time have thrown multiple interceptions in important games and still won

Not throwing interceptions =/= scoring points and actually leading an effective offense.

Who else did we have to put in at QB that night? Who else could have run the option? Quit bashing on players, for you that is specifically JJ. Stick with boxing.

Awesome point.

How about the not-so-great QBs that throw multiple interceptions?

read the subject line..... dont need to read the rest... I think you are dead wrong. JJ has had nothing to do with us being where we are right now, and while he gives our Off. an added wrinkle... I do not think we need him to win.

Can i drop off a bucket of sand to you !!

the same was said about Tebow. You can never predict someone's heart and work ethic. JJ has the tools. With coaching and hard work, he might become a legit NFL QB in 5 or so years.

Lee was having one of the greatest seasons in LSU history as a QB so I'm not sure I understand your point.

Are you implying that JJ is somehow comparable to Tebow at this stage of his football career?
