What’s the rant opinion on this guy? Puts OL in the NFL yearly, seems like a good recruiter, and is a hell of a coach technique wise....

I’ve given Grimes some hell but he did a decent job this year with so many young and new faces. Curious how he recruits moving forward.

Yeah, the only thing that changed (besides the obvious personnel, which got younger) would have been the offense and the blocking scheme.
I believe we went to zone BS. FWIW, Auburn runs same BS I think, which they haven't changed since he was there.
Looks like he is doing an excellent job.

Good offensive scheme always helps the OL saw a lot of ZB this year compared to running out of the "I".

he was great for A&M under sherman but his reputation really took a hit this year. Hes made some very questionable moves on a line that has gotten worse during his tenure here.

Yes, Rob Sale! He is at Arizona now and has coached at ULM, McNeese and Georgia. Most important children is that he has recruiting connections all over the south and Louisiana. He would shut the door on Alabama in Monroe, because he is from there!

Seriously, WHY is Grimes having to bring JC kids when he has been at LSU for years now?
