Looks like Jennings needs a couple more years and Rivers was very impressive.

Jennings and Rettig were playing against the ones. Mett and Rivers were playing against backups and walk ons, calm your excitement.

I think maybe Cam Cameron is having a hunch too. "Hey, I bet this Jennings kid would make a fine wide receiver or running back since SEC defenses are too fast and SEC DC's know how to shut down DTQB's without much of a problem. Hey Les, I've got an idea."

Wow. Just fricking wow.

lol I don't think they looked at the defensive roster for the purple team. You guys got two true freshmen that should still be in high school against our top rated D and two vets against the 2nds 3rds and walk ons. Not to forget they have the top 4 WRs.

Don't go that far. AJ10 looked pretty good running the seconds against the ones and he showed a much better talent for finding his receivers on the field today than JJ ever did. The only thing that he did today that bothered me is that he tended to tuck it and run too much but that could be because he was running the twos against the one...

The big upheaval for LSU is going to come next year when LSU has to decide if they are going to go with the pocket passer style (Rivers, Rettig) or the mobile Dual Threat style (Jennings, TBD).

I do believe this however. If LSU runs into a situation this year where they need greater mobility at the QB spot (i.e. Bama game) Jennings would get that nod.

Lacoutre held his own today against the ones and will see playing time this year.
