I can agree with that to an extent. Key word in your comments being "some". This team obviously has it's problems, but what team doesn't? I consider myself to be a realist as well, but don't see positive comments made about a certain players developement as being blind optimism. Granted, on the field accomplishments and improvements will ultimately validate said comments. But there's nothing wrong with looking forward to the next season in a positive light, versus what some on here choose to see. Again, key word being "some".
Played my high school football at Winnfield Sr High, btw. Is that near you?

"Blind opitimisim"???
In the last 10 years, LSU football has been one of the better programs in the nation on the whole. BCS titles, SEC titles, 10 bowl games with 7 wins, an average of 10 wins a season in the last 5 years, and in 09 we were nationally ranked and had a top 3 SEC football team who went to a major bowl.
And we shouldn't be optimistic for more success?
Are you sure it's not blind pessimism you need to reference.

Perhaps you shouldn't worry over the reading comprehension of others when I point out in quotes your, "blind opitimisim", comment and proceed to tell why some might be optimistic for 2010 and JJ.
