well i don't think its right to completely dismiss a player off a team for something if charges are dropped or he's found innocent. Sorry
That is fine. However, I do not think it is right to put the success of season in jeapordy just for one player's sake. If JJ is innocent, I would love to have him back on the team, provided he does not bring more harm to the program with the distractions. That is a tough call to make, but as hard as it would be to keep JJ off the team, it would be even harder to look at the other 83 players and tell them you are going to potentially compromise their success this year so JJ can be treated "fair".

I like you more and more everyday Mr. O'Reilly

JJ has been released. He will start for Miss State for $25.

Well, even if he is reinstated after this game Les won't just throw him in as the starter if we remain undefeated.

I think it would be more of a distraction if he's not reinstated if the charges are dropped/found innocent.
i can't see that sitting too well with his teammates/friends

If you got accused and arrested for something, given a leave of absence from your job, then later the charges were dropped or you were found innocent....would you expect to be able to return to work? I mean...since it wasn't proven you did anything wrong and all that shite

This is such a silly opinion. Police aren't perfect. Police have arrested plenty of innocent people. There are innocent people sitting on death row right now. There have been numerous innocent people that have since been exonerated of crimes.
I'm not saying JJ is innocent, but just because he's been arrested doesn't make him guilty. Just because the BRPD is still testing shoes doesn't make him guilty.
If the charges against JJ are dropped, of course he should be reinstated back onto the team. Does it mean he's innocent? Nope, but it doesn't mean he's guilty either. And we live in a society where people are SUPPOSED to be presumed innocent until proven guilty.

dear god no. hes the only thing that could derail this season
So you don't think the players that painted JJ name and number on their cleats/tape/gloves/arms would take offense to an innocent, if he is I have zero idea, not being allowed to rejoin the team in any capacity? And don't be ignorant, there are plenty of things that could derail this season. I like what Lee has done this year, but let's see what he does against an SEC defense before determining if he has the ability to continue his slightly above average play.

If the man is not guilty he needs to be back on the team but not as the starter.
Why not the starter?

That is a fair argument as well. Miles will have to make that decision in the end.

because he's missed practice and games and there is no reason to take the starting spot from Lee right now

And we've already seen what JJ can do vs SEC talent and I'll take my chances in a SR Lee and Mett combo over JJ's bullshite everyday of the week

Grabbing a girl's arse on Spring Break after some cocktails (while not smart or appropriate)is not quite equal to being a sexual predator who is raping young defenseless boys and girls...dont think Mett is dangerous.

lol at a douchebag on the internet telling to me to try to comprehend.
I did comprehend everything very well, go look at what I quoted and then my response makes perfect sense.
It's okay, I will accept your apology now for being a dumbass. Thanks and have a great day. Oh, and GFY.
