If JJ can't move the offense in a manner that gives us a chance of winning, and plays the entire game, I will be one of them. But I will go into Sept. 3rd hoping, cautiously, that he will be much improved.

The racist comments are STUPID. It's got nothing to do with race. Intelligence...or lack thereof...is common in ALL races...alot of people thought Jamie Howard was dumb.
I don't recall many people hating on Jamarcus Russell...because he was consistently GOOD. Yeah he made some bonehead plays, but overall he was a GOOD college QB.
You can NOT deny that What JJ SAYS and what JJ DOES, does not match up! That is the argument!
Nobody wants to listen to anybody who talks but consistently doesn't back it up!

It sounds like things are starting to "click" for him. If it was just Miles and coaches saying that about JJ, I'd still be skeptical. But when experts and former players start talking about his improvements, I start getting a glimmer of hope.
JJ problem has always been mechanics. He was a rollout qb in HS, and he came here and never had a QB coach to drill the fundamentals in him of footwork, stride, release point, etc. Now that he's receiving that undee Kragthorpe, its starting to show, thus the praise for him by outsiders this off season.

You don't know this yet. You're taking what he has said this year and placing it with what he did last year. Last year was a long time ago. And to be honest...he improved alot towards the end of the season.

Ok...so let's look at the last 2 times we've heard about JJ...
JJ goes 4 for whatever in the spring game...get's the most improved award.
JJ goes to the manning camp and looks good (with no pads, and no defense).
his QB play is schitzophrenic. PERIOD.
He's the definition of inconsistency. I'm not saying he can't become consistent, but I'm just going on what we have to go by.
