Im not going to lie I thought Jeffersons instincts looked much improved I remember seeing a bunch of times when he was going under pressure I kept thinking he was going to get sacked, but he didnt he had a stupid pick and a stupid intentional grounding, but other times he would scramble forward or try to at least go for some positive yardage. Was it great no? Still the ability to avoid pressure and not take sacks is a good skill no matter what kind of defense your facing

he souldn't have thrown that INT but that was more on the line

No way. Brett Farve has been ripped for throwing a similar type pass vs the Saints in the NFC Championship game. Just throw the ball away!!!

from where i was he had a good game, just a couple of not so great plays.

That cost the team at least 6 points, which could have cost us the game.

before i sign off and this is really my last post im going to do a play by play retelling of what JJ did atleast drive by drive

first drive incomplete pass which should have been caught by RS

second drive 3 6 yard passes one for a TD (was under pressure on the TD pass)

3rd drive 2 incomplete passes

4th drive 1 completion on one attempt 4 yards (should have got another pass)

6th drive (5th drive was the td by RS)

18 yards passing on 2 plays one for 16 one for 2 screen play which ended with a fumble.

7th drive 51 yard TD pass

8th drive 2 passes complete 7 yards, 3rd play pick, int was more on Line but JJ should have held it.

9th drive 21 yard passing drive ended in fumble by ridley

10th drive throw for 4 yards (first play where he threw it to short to get a first)

11th 0-1 i think this was a streak play

12th jefferson 2-3 18 yards

13th jeffesron 8 yards passing yes this was another one of those to short passes but only the 2nd and this failed drive is more on the holding and the IS penalties

That was it for jefferson

it wasn't a great game but it was an imporvemnt from last season

jefferson had some down field throws one sucessful some nice middle of teh field throws a couple good runs

he did have a couple plays where he did throw it to short but im sure that happens to most QBs ive even seen brees do that from time to time. Not comparing him to brees but you can't say he is horrible from two too short passes.

Not a great showing by JJ but he is improving.

I DID see it in person, from 20 rows up behind the LSU bench, and we had receivers open over and over, especially RR, and several times the TE. He can't seem to get past his primary, still seems to wait too long to release and still throws high low too much. Yet his fsnclub will cite his completion % and remind us he's only 19, I mean 20.

who cares about the %. He threw for 3 yards we we need 6 and 7

He actually looked deeper then checked down to randle on that play. Something yall are bitching he does not do enough. Plus Randle had two steps on the guy, as a QB you expect him to turn it upfield and get to the sticks
