I hope the rest of the team and future LSU youth learn from this mess.
Judging by some of the posts by current LSU youth over the last week, they still have a helluva lot to learn.

If you love LSU football. You start looking to move on. You wants whats best for the team.

If you're a Troll or a Gump you're here to run down the program, the players and the fans...

what is best for the Team? that les miles, the leader of 100+ young men, does the right, moral, and ethical thing. I care about the long term stability and outlook for these players. There are lessons here that can be learned that transcend football. Life lessons can be learned here. Thats what is so great about the game of football.

He is one of the biggest influences in these kids lives so he must discipline them appropriately. If he sees his job as solely "Winning games" so be it. But he would be failing 100s of young men and 95% of the roster, which doesnt make the NFL, would not benefit from the mentorship that they diligently worked hard for to earn through the means of an full athletic scholarship.

My post was clear and I stand by it. Do you really care about these kids are is there something else going on here? I say something else.

What make Jefferson and Johns look so bad is that not only where they in the mix, but they lied to Coach Miles until arrested.

Link? How do you know what these two guys told Les Miles about the incident?

If JJ is so innocent, how about the one who actually kicked him in the head step forward and clear all these issues up...yeah, thats what I thought.

What irony? I'm not saying anyone is guilty. I don't know what happened but I'm also not withholding information

I continue to believe that Miles made his mind up about this several days ago. There was enough smoke to implicate these guys. You can't just sit and wait when such a big game is just around the corner. Miles isn't stupid.

I can see how my prior posts were trollish.

But that is my stance. they are given alot, and much should always be expected of them. When they put themselves and the university and those that support them in a bad light or in compromising positions, they should be dealt with accordingly.

JJ is the most recognizable LSU representative right now outside coach Miles. The players will hopefully use this situation to better themselves. It sucks that it has to be this public, but thats what they chose to do to pay for their education and prepare themselves for the future.

Hopefully the learn from this situation and go and talked to troubled youth or aspiring young athletes around BR. If I'm Miles, Id have them go and talk to high school and brec teams throughout the city in this time they have off. Talk to them about the dangers of slipping up and not staying on the right path.

1 team/school a week for the duration of their suspension.

Thankfully he did not react before the arrests as some here would have had him do. Hopefully, this remains "suspended indefinitely" until the cases are concluded.
