you can do better than a defensive coach who took an NFL team to the super bowl as a head coach?

Doesn't this kind of prove the point that Fisher wasn't a very good coach???

Jeff Fisher was on Pardon My Take a couple months ago where he mentioned he was open to the college game. When they asked him about recruiting he made some very good points. He said everyone goes to college with the dream of making the NFL and he knows what it takes for them to get there. He also mentioned that he saw all the problems that kids coming into the NFL, so he could groom them into better players and people before they even got there. I dont know two better pitches than that to recruits and their families

We Do Not want Fisher anywhere near LSU ... As a lifelong Rams fan, I got to see first hand how bad of a coach and more so person he is ! As a coach,he was lazy and ALWAYS made excuses, throwing the team under the bud, not taking any blame. he's taken teams to the playoffs 1 time in 22 seasons, just 1 freaking time ! And as a person, he lied, berated and shafted many Rams players. I don't want him near this team, and he brings NOTHING to recruiting

Exactly

I can’t believe anyone is even behind this thought at all.

He's never coached at the college level and has zero experience with recruiting, which is a huge part of this job. Also, he wasn't exactly setting the world on fire at the time he decided to give up coaching. Recycling failed NFL coaches was a Les Miles thing. It brought us zero national titles (Miles won in 2007 with Crowton and Pelini, but failed with Cameron).
