How about when he has selected pinch hitters and they come through or hit hr’s? Or lineup changes were new guy plays well? Does he get credit for those? You know managing a baseball team has a lot of decisions that are based off a feel they have for certain players and certain matchups along with educated decisions based on scouting and study and it doesn’t always workout how the numbers suggest.
