Like I said…at this level…it’s on the coaches, ALWAYS
If you want to talk about a team of 12U all stars vs a bad league team, then sure, coaching may not be able to overcome it.
Go do some reading by some of the best to ever do it, there is plenty of material out there that explicitly explains it…for some of the folks in this thread that might be a heavy lift though

The cumulative result of the game is always on the coach. Saying it’s jays fault because an individual didn’t execute in a situation they were capable of executing isn’t accountability.

Are you saying that his teams have thematically done all the little things extremely well? That was the point of my post, a single operation in a vacuum is a data point, multiple data points are a trend, multiple repeating instances of trend lines allows us all to make informed predictions

It varies year to year. I think this season the team has been above average at doing the little things well.
The team has executed successful bunts many times. Personally I am not a believer in bunting in any non game winning situation. But the point of my post was to express that the players are not absolved from making a poor play. And bras has laid down successful bunts before.
