Yep. And he most likely takes pride in doing what is necessary to help his team win. That's what made him one of the great Tigers to do it.

I think in the modern game coaches just don’t see the practicality in working bunting during BP. Everything is launch angle and exit velo.

You bunt your best or worst player in that situation. The objective is to get the runner from 2B to 3B no matter who is up to bat. Don't even care if Brown had hit 10 homers last night you bunt in that situation 100% of the time
