Keep it in perspective now...Lee actually won SEC games....Jefferson showed very little against OM and nothing in the second half of the Ark game against THE worst defense in the SEC. Ark was bad...very bad. I saw potential in Jefferson but keep this thing in perspective.

I never had any doubt Lee would respond like this. He'll be a good QB at LSU before its done with.

I agree. I think LSU will need JL before it's all said and done. I think JL will improve and respond well in the years to come.

JLee brought the team from behind on the road at Auburn.

JLee scored a TD to end the half at UF, and then one to start the second. And if our D doesn't shite all over itself afterwords we're in the game. This was Lee at his best all year IMHO

JLee responded to the first pass against UGA(the play call was horrible, IDK what we were thinking) by driving LSU down the field to tie the game. The D then shits on itself again(see a pattern)

JLee threw aweswome bombs repeatedly most memorably the 1st half one against Bama

JLee led a fourth quarter drive to tie the game against the number one team in the country.

JLee led the biggest comeback in LSU history

Kid hasn't proved shite.

Lee won one big game this season against a horrible Auburn team, Jefferson went into the Ole Miss game already behind and at least made a ball game out of it. You got to remember Jefferson didn't lose the Arkansas game, the defensive gameplan did.

Yea, I forgot that Jarrett Lee was the QB in the Alabma game when he threw a perfect over the shoulder TD to Byrd, I think it was a 50+ yard TD, then Charles Scott, busted up the middle for a TD. I think that was a 35 yard TD, and then Chris Mitchell dropped a bomb, that hit him right in the hands that would've been a TD....no Spark there....

Oh, and no spark in 2nd half of the Troy game.

LSU is all about wins and losses and what he did at UF doesn't mean anything because we lost. Also, if he doesn't put us in the hole against UGA we still stand a chance.

And JJ threw a perfect pass to Tolliver against Ole Miss...one throw doesn't make your career at LSU...

You can give Jefferson the Arkansas game, which I agree was lost by the defense. But to say he made a game out of the Ole Miss game is misleading. Lee couldn't go in the second half of that game so we'll never know what he would have done.

LSU won in spite of JLee's play, and in those games the running game and defense showed up.

Jefferson showed very little against OM

He threw LSU's only TD pass, despite having way less practice and game experience than JLee.

True, (although LSU did score a 3rd quarter TD)but the running game provided nothing and the play calling was deliberatly conservative. The defense lost that game. No INTs...which was an accomplishment this year.

We'll know more after the bowl game of course, but the fact that JJ was able to avoid throwing INTs and was able to scramble and run the option make him more appealing.

what? He gave LSU exactly what it needed down 20-0. And then the defense gave away any chance he had to bring them back.

I'm not saying he played great, but those two drives had to get you excited about the kid's future.

Let's see....where to start...the SC win was maybe the best win of the year...on the road...all JL. He also performed well in the second half of the AU game and won it...Jefferson was totally stiffled by OM, the last 20 snaps he led us to 32 yards. So Jefferson gets a pass for the pathetic d play, but JL never does? When you lose objectivity, you can't make proper assessments.

Look at our offense production in the 2nd half of both of those games.

I'd post them again, but Im tired of driving home a point that no one can understand.

Dude is completing %40 of his passes. He is basically Marcus Randall at this point.

What I donn't like about fans like you is that you take one person, J. Lee and you blame him for like 3 of LSU's loses.

People like you blame J. Lee for a shitty season.

Nobody wants to say anything about the f'ing defense. Our defense was/is shite. They are the main reason we lost 5 games. They are the ones who got lit up all season. They are almost at the bottom in every stat category in the SEC. Can't win when that happens...even if you QB throws one pick 6 a game!

Jefferson can scramble, but was sacked more times than Lee in much fewer chances.

Point being, the whole TEAM played poorly this season.

Second point being, both these kids have tremendous upside so give them both a chance to actually make this their team. This year wasn't about Lee or Jefferson. This was Perrilloux's team trying to find a way to get going without him.

The entire team did not show up against OM. But the offense absolutely sputtered with Lee in there and showed no signs of life. Crowton was limited in the playcalling. At least JJ could scramble a bit and actually threw LSU's only TD.

I agree that the defense played bad all season, but when you at least stop a team, get the ball back, and find out your down even more because of a pick six is demoralizing.
