Colt would be a first round pick if he had Lee's arm strength.

I was really hoping Miles would hire a QB coach this offseason.

Lee has one fundamental problem:
* He can see LSU's receivers
* He never sees the defensive players
It is why he threw so many INTs. The question is whether or not Lee could improve, which depends upon talent and coaching.
As much as I think Les & Co are doing a crummy job of coaching (they are), one has to acknowledge that Lee just might not have the ability to adapt to the faster (than HS) speed of the collegiate game and pick out those defenders.

The only difference is he came to LSU when developing qb's seems not to be a priority. Crowton would rather fool the other team with personnel and shifts, than to actually work to develope a qb that thinks on the field.
Understand, Crow is trying to do the thinking for them, that's his whole scheme.
Therefore, no developement takes place like a young qb should.
This x 100000000000
Lee lit it up at Elite 11 workouts, etc. Jefferson lost what, 1 game in his hs career.
While OL play, shitty play calling, and clock management are problems, the QB development (or lack thereof) is the most disheartening.
