How does anyone think Lee is a net positive for this team is beyond me. This makes us more one-dimensional.
We were one dimensional last year. 4 regular season passing TDs by Jefferson is the reason why.
I'll tell you this much.. worst case scenario (barring injuries/return of Jefferson, etc) Lee will triple last years regular season passing TD total at minimum. It won't have much of an effect on the run-game either -- I call that addition by subtraction.
I was hoping JJ would be a better passing QB this year, but we won't get to find out, at least any time soon.

he was ignorant as a rs freshman, but he threw the ball with more authority and really stepped into his throws better. after being shaken up a bit i think he has still failed to gain that back.
the real issue with lee is his footwork. if the play called is a quick slant or fade and the play is executed and timing is not affected he's good. after that, look out. he rarely sets his feet after the first read does not work. he's going to have to be willing to spend more time in the pocket and actually get hit a little bit. he did that more consistently as a freshman than he does currently.
he's a new man. i expect him to have learned from mistakes, but don't expect him to look like a completly different player. he just needs to be better than he has been. sounds easy, but this game comes down to instincts.

I've said it before - the Pick-Six season was a statistical anomaly.
Lee showed very good signs against Bama and Florida last year. NOW we have the best QB at the helm.
Jefferson accomplished what Miles was too thick-headed to do - sit Jefferson down.
