I never said there wasn't racism. Of course I realize there is racism here, but you seem to think its the majority, while I don't. And I've got news for you, racism isn't just around in the South. That is a popular misconception. Its all over the country, and it runs both ways (white on black, and black on white). And yea, I do agree racism hasn't disappeared, but it isn't nearly as bad.

this has nothing to do with anything. People were calling for Mitchell to come out because a while back he wasn't doing well. I don't care if he is a first round pick. He was slumping. Now he's doing great, so obviously he will stay in. But you can't say he was doing very good in the Super Regionals.

So if someone is a high draft pick and they're black we have to like them and want them to stay in even when they aren't performing that well?

He had the highest strike out % of the team at one point. Yes, he also had highest on base %, but people don't want to watch walks they want to watch hits. It doesn't mean they're racist when they think just because he strikes out he should be pulled. Its called stupidty, not racism.

He also led the team in strike outs for a long time. I agree that the on base percentage outwieghs the strikeouts, but other people make dumb armchair coach statements all the time. It doesn't mean they're racist.

I agree with this. It seems just because the guy is black means we all have to root for him. If we don't, we're automatically racist. I don't mind J. Mitch, but if I don't wanna root for him, I don't wanna root for him.

when did i say it did? i said they were stupid or racist
there are racist comments all the time about landry/mitchell and there were plenty of comments about JR being dump, "holding a football like a watermellon", not having heart, etc.
