absolutely amazing that he could take that team to Auburn and score 3 points.
Simply amazing coaching. Wow.

What're you, his boyfriend or something? How many games has SFP coached? How many programs has he run?

No...EA NCAA football doesn't count...it's amazing how strongly SFP disagrees with people who make their livings off of football knowledge. If he knows so much better than Les Miles, maybe he should talk the administration into hiring him as Miles' replacement! Then we could all watch as he sees what it is like to successfully run a program while raginig idiots criticize him from the stands. I'm sure that the administration would be impressed with SFP's football knowledge and would hire him instantly at great savings to the university.

I mean, has SFP even coached a pee wee team?

How much does SFP make off of his football knowledge? SFP is a raging football idiot. If you weren't spending so much time getting to know SFP's testicles, you'd realize that.

Its pretty amazing what Miles did with this team in 06. All the great players he supposedly had seem pretty shitty now.

Talk about coaching them up

Wow! Are you really arguing that Miles didn't have much talent to work with?

Let me read that again.

Yep. That's what you are saying.

Chris Landry said a few weeks ago that he advised the raiders against making him the #1 pick. Not because he didn't have all the skills, but because he was lazy and didn't work hard. He doesn't like to watch video and do what needs to be done to get better. Give him 62 million and he has no incetive to work harder at improving. That much money sure can go a long way.

well, it was his choice to go pro early so the way i see it, it's his fault for doing it...are we supposed to feel sorry for him? Everyone knew the Raiders would go after him.

What are you saying? He should have come back to fall in the draft? The point is to get drafted as high as possible so you get paid! You don't get any higher than the 1st pick my friend...no need to come back...see Sam Bradford

JR has a great arm and size but has always struggled with getting to the top level everyone sees him at. I think it will take a QB coach investing tons of time to see if he can be a top NFL QB.

This. See David Carr. Tons of upside, went to a brand new franchise, behind a terrible line with one good receiver (more than JR has), got sacked a bunch and lost his confidence, and is now the Human Victory Cigar in the Giants organization.

I never liked Russell as QB, he is a fat lazy a$$
all he cares about is the money. You could put him with any team in the NFL and the results would
be the same. He was drafted # 1 strictly because
of the performance he had in the final game he played for LSU.

It doesn't surprise me. Let's face it, men, JR is as dumb as a sack of bricks, and we all know that you can't be that way and succeed as a QB in the NFL.

Yeah it has to be the coaches...Fire the coaches, they should get Nick Saban. Nick Saban is basically a walking Jesus. If he would coach the raiders they would be 100-0 because his attitude is so fierce.

so it wasn't because he was the best QB in the country that year only throwing 8 INTS all season, going 8 games without throwing any?

nah man, JR's highest QB rating among BCS conference QB's was largely in part due to the wide open WR's and them making adjustments to catch every ball.

i knew there was a reason that he completed close to 70% of his passes. If he was accurate, he would have thrown for 80&
