As I can see why players leave, and I completely understand why; some just want to graduate. Didn't Luck stay that extra year and graduate? Everyone's different. With that said, I think he will go, but it'd be nice to see him stay.

Luck and Manning came from millionaire families. Otherwise, it is exceedingly rare for a guaranteed first round pick to return. Jamal can graduate without coming back next year. If he stays, he'll be a legend, but I just don't see it.

Just curious... what reason would Jamal have to stay his senior year? Projected top 5 pick already proved himself as an elite safety

Plausible reasons:

* He loves the college experience and wants to try one more time for a championship
* He wants his degree because he has his sights on things after the NFL
* He has an unknown semi-major injury that is going to require surgery during the offseason and, once known, would result in him falling down the draft board and ultimately costing him a lot of money (LET ME BE CLEAR...THIS IS TOTALLY HYPOTHETICAL)

Based on known information, there is no football reason for him to come back. He's been awesome.
