CBK must have had a conversation with Brad Johnson and BJ didn't like what he heard.
Maybe it was that LSU will have an open QB competition.
Being risk adverse to possibly not winning the job against Nuss and Howard, it is better to transfer.

This is the question I wanted to ask. The timing makes it obvious that it was a coordinated decision between the family/brothers.

Do they both find a new home by 12/17? Do they end up at the same school?

Jake originally committed to LSU over offers from Clemson, Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, Florida, and many others.

What's the QB/TE situation at Florida? Maybe Brad Johnson liked Napier better & the Johnson boys are headed there.
