ll our CBs are good, down to the true freshman Claiborne. Too many don't realize how great our DBs are to allow less than 28 points a game with a totally non existent pass rush from the front 4. No group of LSU DBs and LBs have played better and gotten less recognition for it than this year's group. Success builds at the line, and our DL was beyond horrible this year.

I think Jai and Hawkins are both good and effective depending on matchups. Jai was clearly better vs a big physical guy like AJ (or Julio) while Maze for bama was clearly to fast/quick for him and Hawkins was much better to check him.
Of course just because I could see that this was the case didn't mean our wonderful coaching staff could notice it and put our players and team in the best positions for success.
